Dear Parents, Players and Coaches,

This weekend we conclude the regular season play for all of our teams in the InTown Division.  Thanks to the volunteer coaches who made it possible! Thanks also to the parents who have supported their players on the sidelines.  

For Grades 3-4 through HS Coed, the club will host the annual Carpini Cup Tournament on October 26th and 27th.   It is a fun festival and second chance tournament for these grade levels. 

Tune in Monday Night, October 21st at 7pm for the Carpini Selection show.  Division place winners will be announced and the bracket match-ups and game times will be revealed in real time.  The game will be broadcast on LTV on FIOS 26 Comcast 34 and streamed here: livingstontv.org

Coaches Meeting is on Thursday, October 24th at the LHS Cafeteria at 7pm. First- Second grade will be able to pick up their team trophies at the start.  The rest of the coaches will remain for the Carpini Cup Review and receive their trophies at the end of the meeting. 

Some reminders about Carpini Cup and the rules that will be enforced:

• No jewelry is allowed- earrings cannot be taped over.  This is for the wearer's safety not because we are mean.  Clear plastic earrings for sports are permitted . Bracelets can be covered by a sweatband.  Medical bracelets are permitted.
• Soccer cleats are allowed.  Baseball and lacrosse cleats are not allowed.  They are dangerous for soccer play which demands pivoting and turning on the field. 
• Games will start on time with or without your players.  Society does not arrive late on Carpini Cup weekend.  Please allow extra time to park near the schools.
• When parking, park only on the side of the street with the even numbered homes.  If there is an emergency, the vehicles space to drive down the street.
