Spring 2020 Tryouts
Thank you for your interest in our Spring 2020 Travel season.
Each year, we look to form competitive soccer teams for the Fall and Spring seasons. Those teams remain together for the entire year. We understand there are some players who are new or cannot make the Fall commitment. So our hope is to form as many Travel teams as possible for the Spring season. There is no specific age group we are looking for. If enough qualified players are interested, we are happy to pursue a team.
Players born in the years 2005 - 2013 are eligible to participate. For those players currently in high school, please click here to learn more about our Spring HS teams.
The estimated, all-inclusive cost, for the program is approximately $600 - $800. This all depends on the amount of players on a team. As we are a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers, we look to keep our prices as low as possible.
Timeline of Events
Please note that players will need to try out, again, in the Spring, for a Fall 2020/Spring 2021 team.
We expect every player who is trying out to make a full commitment to the team. During the season, athletes may engage in more than one sport. We encourage this but also stress the commitment to Travel soccer.
It is not the policy of the Livingston Soccer Club to take any position in the event of a conflict in scheduling between (a) any individual soccer game or practice and (b) athletic game or practice. The Livingston Soccer Club believes the decision, in the event of any conflict, rests solely with the player and his or her family.
Parent participation and commitment are an important part of LSC Travel. Parents will have the responsibility to provide transportation for their children to and from practices as well as games. Away games may be a 15-75-minute drive. As you evaluate whether LSC Travel is right for your son and/or daughter, and your family, please keep the following objectives of the LSC Travel in mind:
All teams are coached by a professional trainer. They run all training sessions and attend as many games as possible. There are times where trainers may not be available. This is when we ask parent managers to help out.
Parent managers are volunteers who help schedule games, communicate information to parents, and assist with any behind-the-scenes needs for a team. Information on how to sign up to be a parent manager is on our registration page.
